[ which means he's going to spend the next hour getting things together and making sure he dresses in something comfortable but fashionable, and he honestly does his best not to rush over to her place at least thirty minutes before six. ]

( now to quietly (or loudly) freak out until he comes over, she decides. after all, sure, they do lots of things together but asking someone you like to stay the night is a lot, okay? never mind that her apartment already looks perfect and clean, she still spends time working and getting things together until she hears the knock. )

Come on in! ( she calls out from her place on the floor where she is putting the final touches on a... oh, yeah, it's definitely a blanket fort. a fancy blanket fort, but definitely one set up in front of her couch with a perfect view of the television. )

[ at least he doesn't make a complete fool of himself getting into her place, setting the bag he's brought with him just at the end of the foyer and slipping out of his shoes so he can join her in the... whoa, yeah. that is definitely a blanket fort. it's kind of sweet, really, and prompto decides to quickly snap a picture of it before tucking his device away and joining her on the floor. ]

How long did it take you to put this together? [ he's grinning at her, obviously very pleased by the idea. and unable to keep himself from teasing her: ] I mean, I would have been cool with just the couch.

( she peeks out of the fort when she hears him approach, smiling fondly as he speaks and moves to join her on the floor. there's a faint, bashful look on her face but she seems pretty pleased with herself. )

Not terribly long. ( just, you know, a good hour of mostly figuring out how to put it together. ) And I know but... I thought it might be fun.

[ he laughs, shaking his head a little, and after a second, decides to sprawl out a bit, hoping it'll make things more comfortable between them. ]

Heh, it totally looks fun too. [ prompto's smile is warm, leaning into her personal space just enough so he can nudge her. ] What other fun stuff have you got planned?

You really think so? ( she can't being worried. it's in her nature, after all. human emotions and feelings were still so... foreign at times but she, nevertheless, likes it. likes the way she feels when she looks at him. ) Most of what I was programmed to know was for little kids but I figured movies are always a good start.

( the look she gives him is a fond one as she reaches out, brushing hair off his face. ) Maybe we can think of a game or two to play too.

[ for a moment, he almost forgets what he was going to say when she touches his face, pressing into her fingers and doing his best not to be ridiculous and kiss her palm. prompto just nuzzles her for a second and then laughs instead, relaxing even further as he takes in what she says. it sounds like it's going to be a pretty nice night, all things considered, and he glances towards the television before looking back at her. ]

I love movies. [ he scoots closer to her. ] And games. Not that I'm always the best at 'em 'cause Noct kicks my butt, but... [ he shrugs. ] Anyway, you got any ideas? The only thing I'm thinking of is, like, drinking games, but I dunno how fun that would really be.

[ also, he doesn't know if kara can actually get drunk, and that would be a waste if he was the only one enjoying it. ]

( it's a simple but pleasant gesture, she finds. to just sit her playing with his hair and enjoy the sensation of him nuzzling against her. the laughter, she finds too, is infectious and gives him a grin. )

I'm not terribly good at game either so you might find yourself on a winning streak tonight. ( but, hmm. it's a good question. ) I know a lot of basic card games and there's a board game or two around here somewhere. Though it's board game for, you know, sex stuff. I was a little curious about how someone might play them.

( and she can't help blushing a little once again. )

kara says sex stuff, and his mind immediately goes back to all the times they'd been together before, the moments they'd shared in this very apartment together. he can't help flushing a little, though he ignores the heat in his face so he can study her for a second or two longer than he normally would. she's so pretty, and the feelings he has for her are almost too strong to deny. ]

Huh. [ it's a soft sound, noncommittal at best. ] Well, I don't think I've ever played any of those, so we'd be pretty even if you wanted to give it a shot. I mean, if that's what you feel like doing. [ a pause, trying not to stumble over himself. ] I'm really game for whatever.

I, um, I wouldn't mind. Or just looking through them, you know?

( her gaze flickers back to him with another smile before she leans down, kissing the tip of his nose with a chuckle. it's another small gesture of affection but much like him, her feelings are too much to deny at times. although she can't say she could ever bring herself to ever deny them. )

I mean we don't have to do anything but maybe it'll give us some ideas for in the future?

[ she can't just kiss him like that and expect him to keep it at that, reaching to curl his fingers around the back of her neck and coax her into a soft kiss. this sort of intimacy is still difficult for him to accept at times, but with kara, it's just easier. everything is easier, and he doesn't have to overthink things all the time either. ]

Guess I can't say no to that kinda thing. [ he draws back, giving her a smile. ] Did you find the games in the city, or were they just hanging around in your apartment? [ you never know, right? not with this place. ] Uh, not that it matters or anything. I was sort of curious?

( no, she supposes she can't get away that easily. thankfully there isn't a lot of coaxing needed to lean back in and return the kiss with a soft smile. )

I found them during one of my shopping trips not long after I first arrived. ( she says, bashfully. ) You know since I was so new to... well, everything when I first arrived in the city. I bought them thinking they might help.

[ if prompto had known about things like that, he probably would have done the same thing. as it is, no one he'd spoken to had known anything, and so, he'd been sort of stuck learning things on his own. or at orientation. ]

I wish I'd thought of that when I'd gotten here. [ because, hey, he'd been a very shy, blushing virgin. the city might have taken away the virgin part, but he was still kind of blushing. ] But let's see these games. Maybe we can find something we like! [ and he's definitely not thinking about what might happen because of said games either. nope. not at all. ]

I just have a lot of time to think, especially in the middle of the night. So I have even more time to come up with different ways of looking at things. ( because otherwise, she might have been in the same boat of being stuck learning things the hard way. ) Be right back.

( she scoots out from underneath the blankets and stands, vanishing into her room to gather up said games. when she returns, she has a small number of them in hand and some might even be familiar aside from the obvious twist from the city. monopoly but with sex. twister... but, surprise, with sex. another seems to be a card game of telling one another secrets while the last is just a pair of dice with a random assortment of sex acts written on the faces. )

I, um... like I mentioned I sorta have a lot of time on my hands.
