[ mostly because he's spent so much time in the up rather than the place he's currently living. his job is in the up. the people he likes and his friends are all in the up. he only comes back here to sleep if he doesn't accidentally stay over with someone he knows. but he tries to be casual about it, shrugging even as he starts walking. ]
