[Possibly. Cor is known by those close to him to be a subtle troll at times.

But regardless, he is a man who does his best to be punctual. Within one hour, he finds himself around the beach area, following a local's directions to the sandy shores. He keeps his ears open, following even the faintest sound of that all-too-familiar 'kweh'-ing...]

Prompto tries not to get too entangled with the chocobos so he can meet Cor when he shows up, standing near the entrance and keeping an eye out. When he thinks he sees him, Prompto leaves the grounds to meet him, careful not to lead any of the chicks aware from where they're roaming freely. He throws up an arm, waving at him.

"Hey!" He tries not to be as excited as he feels, especially since he's getting some one-on-one time with the Cor. "You made it!"

Cor smiles as he nears the apparent Chocobo Ranch, of sorts. He never thought he would think of it this way, but he kind of missed seeing those huge riding birds. It's a slice of home that's always represented peace and rest.

His smile widens as he sees Prompto, and quickly makes his way over to the younger man. "And I see that you're already mingling among your breathren," he greets him with some friendly ribbing.

Prompto laughs because... well, it's true.

"They're just so happy all the time. How can you not love 'em?" Said from experience, obviously, and he tries to tone his enthusiasm down a little more. "You wanna tour? It's not super big, but it's real nice." And it's his, which is still something he can't quite get over.

"oh, I dunno. I've seen some that can really nasty as a teenager." Aka, during his own group road trip. Cor still thinks that he was setup for that one, but...well, that's in the distant past now.

"Absolutely," he agrees with a nod. "And I'm kind of wondering if you're handling all this with just your Dom..." Also, just how many of these overgrown birds are there, anyway??
